SR-CL SYSTEM. DRINKING WATER CHLORINATION.

The SR-CL system (Water Purification) technology is based on a water treatment by electrolysis process.

Today, there is a global effort to keep the environment free of pollution. Therefore, the maintenance and provision of clean water, purified and disinfected is a priority. Several methods are available for this process. The usual methods for treating water, such as adding chemicals, would be very expensive, and require expensive and dangerous transport.

The cost for the electrolysis method, available today, is both ingenious and safe. Electrolysis system is used to carry out the natural elements inherent in the water to produce chlorine. This allows the purification of water without harmful chemical additives. SAMI has developed this solution for the purification of water with a natural and relatively simple process. This unique method to disinfect water by chlorination produces chlorine from the chloride in the water, through a simple process called electrolysis.

In the electrolytic process, an electrical current is transmitted directly between the electrodes through the electrolyte canal: water. Chemical reactions occur on the surfaces of the electrodes: the anode produces an acidic environment and the cathode produces a base environment. As a result of oxidative chemical reactions are performed water purification.

Using innovative SAMI brand ensures natural water free of chemical additives. The system is both low cost and low maintenance. It does not require excessive costs, hazardous and high cost of transportation of chemicals. Environmentally friendly, environmentally safe, it offers a viable alternative to other solutions available today, which cause serious environmental damage.

SR-CL. The Solution.

Currently, there is debate over the conventional method of adding chemicals to drinking water. There is a global movement, employment debate the use of chemicals, which, its use has been on a steady rise. Therefore, the electrolytic chlorination system has been developed to purify drinking water without the need to add chemicals to water.

There is also a global decline in the use of chlorine, primarily by environmental concerns, safety, transportation, storage and use as a chemical.

The chlorination process (electrolysis), drinking water, produces a natural substance, disinfection, called "active chlorine", produced by natural chlorides in the water, without adding other chemicals.

Chlorination process using electrolysis system

Electrolytic chlorination process is based on the transfer of current in the water, which functions as an electrolytic medium, so that a current flowing between the positively charged anode and the negatively charged cathode. A lack of electrons, which generates a positive charge is called an anode and an excess of electrons that generate a negative charge is called the cathode.

The meeting of the cation or an anion (negatively or positively charged ion) with the appropriate electrode (anode or cathode), causes a transfer of electrons over the negative ion at the anode and the cathode, the positively charged ion .

The process causes the formation of neutral atoms, some gases and metals or metal compounds. Some gases, which are not dissolved in water, are discharged as bubbles in the atmosphere, and some metals and their compounds, which are not dissolved in water, sediment and placed directly on the cathode, or their surrounding area.

The burden of electric current in the electrolyte chamber, is a function of several parameters, mainly of:

¿HOW IT WORKS?

In the electrolytic process, an electrical current is transmitted directly between the electrodes through the electrolyte canal: water. Chemical reactions occur on the surfaces of the electrodes: the anode produces an acidic environment and the cathode produces a base environment. As a result of oxidative chemical reactions are performed water purification.

In the electrolytic process, the direct electric current (DC) is transferred by the electrolytic medium (water), and electrical voltage of a dc drives between the two electrodes, the anode and cathode.

Chemical reactions occurring on electrode surfaces: Inside and around the vicinity of the cathode, reduction and sedimentary processes occur over a basic pH level. Inside and around the anode oxidation processes occur on an acidic pH level.

Active Chlorine is produced in close proximity to the anode, as hypochlorite, or alternately, the hypochlorite ion, depending on the level of the reaction of water.

The main parameters are:

The electrolyte system explained:

This system is related to the active device chloride produces chloride ions, which are naturally present in water. The system is based on several elements:

The change of polarity of the electrodes, can occur at a predetermined time. This process of change of polarity, prevents the formation of sedimentation on the electrode surface, which functions as a cathode. The electrolyte system is attached to the local control unit of the device, so the system can enable or disable, depending on whether or not water flow.

Controlling the concentration of chloride, water convenient, works similar to standard chlorination systems using chlorine meter constant, which transmits and tracks the concentration of chlorine. If chlorine level is high or low in the water, the flow of water through the tube and the electrolytic chlorination is stopped.

The advantages of implementing this relatively simple solution is clarity of method - the water without chemicals, pure and maintenance at a very low price.

In Brief

The electrolytic device is for multiple purposes, for improving water quality, use cathodic and anodic reactions. The deposition of lime and other solids, run above the cathode surface as a result of the existence of a basic pH level. Disinfection processes occur on the anode surface as a result of reactions with the oxidized products, which remain on the surface. The electrochemical parameters correct programming and engineering, allows control of multiple terminations reactions that combine the removal of lime with disinfection processes and oxidation.
